Where is the nearest food shop?

We have two 'general stores' within 10 minutes walk from the site, or 2 minutes by car.

Where is the nearest pub/restaurant?

Robin Hood's Bay has a number of pubs/restaurants all within 5-15 minutes walk from Hooks House Farm, with plenty more excellent eating places within the wide area (surrounding villages/Whitby).

Where is the nearest bank?

The nearest banks with cash machines are in Whitby town centre, plus cash machines at petrol stations on the outskirts of Whitby. Cash back facility available at local shops.

Do you take advance bookings for tents?

We take advanced bookings for all pitches and a £30 NON REFUNDABLE/NON TRANSFERRABLE deposit by debit card will be required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is to be paid 2 weeks prior to the arrival date which is also a NON REFUNDABLE/NON TRANSFERRABLE payment.

Do you have a minimum length of stay policy?

Minimum length of stay policy - Over Bank Holidays and busy times a minimum stay may apply, please contact us for details.

Do you hire freezer packs?

No, but you can freeze your own in the freezer provided.

Do you allow fires or BBQs?

Open fires are not allowed under any circumstances. BBQs are allowed provided they are raised off the grass and suitably sited and attended so that they are not a hazard to others.

Can I charge my electric car on site?

Sorry, there is no facility for charging electric cars.

What is the arrival/departure time?

Arrival is from 11.30am and departure by 11am.
